Board of Secondary Education Andhra Pradesh, popularly known as AP SSC Board is now changed the AP 10th Class Board Exams Pattern and communicated to all the students who are studying SSC during the academic year.

Here NIC Results is providing the changed AP 10th Class Board Exams Pattern in brief for the convienience of the students who are going to appear for the AP SSC Board Examinations.

The exam time to be extended by 15 minutes. Earlier, students used to get 2 hours and 30 minutes, now it will be 2 hours and 45 minutes.

The tenth class new exam pattern to consist –

  • Four essay questions, each of which will be of five marks (4x5 = 20).
  • Eight short questions, each of which will be of two digits (8x2 = 16).
  • Eight questions will be of 1 mark (8x1 = 8).
  • 12 questions will be of half mark (12x1 / 2 = 6).
  • Each paper will be given for 50 marks.

BSEAP SSC (10th Class) Eligibility Conditions and Fee Particulars

Minimum Qualification : Regular Study upto Class X in any recognized School for Regular Candidates. No minimum qualification prescribed for candidates appeared under Without School Study Private Candidates.

Minimum Age : 14+ years as on 31st August of the academic year

Age Condonation allowed if any : Upto 1½ years by the D.E.O. 1½ to 2 years by the D.G.E., A.P., Hyderabad.

SSC Examination Fee / Other Fee : 
  1. Rs. 125/- for 6 subjects.
  2. Rs. 110/- upto 3 subjects
  3. Late fee as notified by the office time to time.
  4. Attendance Exemption Fee Rs.650/- for Private without school study Candidates.
  5. Recounting Fee Rs.150/- per subject.
  6. Age condonation Fee is Rs.300/-
  7. Special Fee of Rs.650/- for the Candidates of Other State candidates in addition to Attendance exemption fee. (Notification to be referred)
  8. Rs.80/- for issue of Memo of Marks /Age Certificate / Migration Certificates of any SSC Exam.
  9. Rs.250/- for issue of Duplicate Pass Certificate.
  10. SSC Vocational fee of Rs.60/- in addition to the SSC Exam Fee.
  11. P.H. Candidates:
  12. Deaf & Dumb and Blind Candidates are exempted from payment of Exam Fee and Attendance Exemption Fee.
  13. Who have 40 % and above PH percentage are only taken into PH category.
  14. Deaf & Dumb candidates are exempted from writing 2 Language subjects.
  15. Deaf & Dumb and Blind candidate who secure 20% & above in each subject will be declared as pass.
  16. Blind candidates are eligible to take scribe ( X standard)
  17. The PH Candidates shall take Prior Permission from the Director of Govt. Exams for exemption of Language subjects and other exemptions.

Important Information about DGE AP

  1. Issuing of Dummy marks sheets to candidates through e-sevas at all District Headquarters besides flashing the results through internet on Websites.
  2. Flashing the results on Cell Phones through SMS Service.
  3. Issue of Photo hall tickets has lead to avoiding of impersonation cases to maximum extent.
  4. Government has taken a decision to advance the SSC Supplementary Examinations from September / October months of the year to May/June. The system of advancement of Supplementary Public Examinations commenced in May/June 2000.
  5. OMR Bar Coding system is introduced in all subjects for SSC Public Examinations, March 2010 onwards.
  6. Supplying of Xerox copies of valued answer scripts to the candidates in first four subjects i.e, 3 language subjects and Mathematics only for SSC Public Examinations, March 2011 onwards.
  7. Absolute Grading System has been introduced in SSC Public Examinations, March 2011 onwards in the place of Relative Grading System.
  8. Mother’s name along with Father’s name is being printed in the Pass Certificates / Memorandum of Marks from SSC Public Examination, March 2011 onwards.
  9. Scale of Punishment to the Examiners / Spl. Assistants who commit the mistakes in valuation of Answer Scripts of SSC Public Examinations March 2011 and Advanced Supplementary Examinations June, 2011.

Directorate of Government Examinations is an independent department functioning under ministry of secondary education, Government of Andhra Pradesh. The department is responsible for conducting the SSC/OSSC Public Examinations and a number of minor examinations as given below.

Major Examinations

DGE’s office conducts SSC/OSSC examinations twice in a year. This is the major examination with a registration of 6.52 lakh candidates for Annual (March -2015) examinations and 0.75 lakh candidates for Advanced Supplementary Examinations(May / June -2015)
