Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana (KVPY)  Fellowship award will be presented to the student who are appeared for the examination and selection procedure after that, an interview will be called for and selection of the KVPY Fellowship Award  will be going on 

Following is the provisional list of candidates in the order of merit, recommended for the Award of KVPY Fellowship. The merit list is based on the marks obtained by a Candidate: 75 % of the marks in the Aptitude Test + 25 % of the marks in the Interview.

The mars of all the candidates who appeared for the Aptitude Test & Interview (as applicable) can be obtained from the KVPY website during last week  of April 2020 by logging in with the  application number and date of birth.

KVPY Selection Procedure

Aptitude Test: Candidates meeting the eligibility criteria for various streams,  will be called for  aptitude test conducted both in Hindi and English at different centers across the country on Sunday, the 3rd November 2019.

About Admit Card Download

Students  may download the admit card for the aptitude test from the website from the  second week of October 2019.

About Interview Procedure 

Based on the performance in the aptitude test, short-listed students will be asked to appear for an interview which is the final stage of the selection procedure. 

The Award of KVPY Fellowship will be  subject to verification of the required documents.

In case of SA candidates, the fellowship will be effective from 1st August 2020, provided they pursue an undergraduate course in Basic Sciences, namely B.Sc./B.S./B.Stat./B.Math./Int. M.Sc./M.S. in Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, Statistics, Life Sciences, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Cell Biology, Ecology, Molecular Biology, Botany, Zoology, Physiology, Biotechnology, Neurosciences, Bioinformatics, Marine Biology, Geology, Human Biology, Genetics, Biomedical Sciences, Applied Physics, Geophysics, Materials Science or Environmental Science.

In case of SX/SB candidates, the fellowship will be effective from 1st August 2019 provided they pursue an undergraduate course in Basic Sciences in branches mentioned above for SA candidates.

The candidates are required to intimate the KVPY office by email (fellowship.kvpy@iisc.ac.in) about their admission to the undergraduate program by 5th September 2019, so as to enable this office  to forward the required forms for the candidates to fill up and submit to activate the KVPY fellowships.
